His efforts in applied intelligence, e-commerce, social networking, technology, and entertainment have led to Board of Director roles for over a dozen companies.   Jim also leads AZ Crown’s investing efforts at ASU, his alma mater, focusing on commercializing core technology invented by ASU’s, #1 Ranked Innovation Programs. In addition, Jim did his graduate work at Georgetown University in Applied Intelligence.

Jim Peacock is a seasoned med-tech entrepreneur with a track record of founding and managing five successful companies. He has raised over $200 million in investment capital and has multiple successful exits and patented products to his name. With over 45 issued US patents and various scientific publications, Jim is a recognized expert in his field. He is a frequent speaker and guest lecturer at graduate law, business, and engineering schools and is a Registered Patent Attorney and member of the California State Bar. Jim advises other startups as an Of Counsel consultant to Mahamedi IP Law LLP and previously held similar roles at O’Banion & Ritchey LLP and Morrison & Foerster LLP.

Kurt Donnell, Freestar – President & CEO

Kurt is the President and CEO of Freestar, the number one fastest-growing private company in the 2019 Inc. 5000. He has a diverse background, having previously served as EVP, Corporate Development and General Counsel for YogaWorks and in a similar role at SheKnows Media. With experience in leading various teams, including business development, corporate development, audience development, and legal, Kurt has expertise in digital media.

Kurt started his career at large law firms, including Ballard Spahr and Jones Day, and holds a JD from the University of Virginia Law school. He graduated from Miami University with a BS and an MS in Accountancy.

David Freedman, Freestar – Founder

David Freedman is a 15-year veteran in digital advertising and publishing and the founder of Freestar, a managed service that simplifies website monetization for publishers and e-commerce sites. Under his leadership, Freestar has grown explosively, reaching 36,680% growth in 2018 and earning the number one position on Inc.’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies in 2019.  David is also on the Advisory Board of SURF, a company that connects rideshare passengers with content via tablets and is a Venture Mentor at Coplex, a Venture Builder that fosters high-growth tech companies. He earned his B.S. in Business and Commercial Real Estate from Arizona State University.
